The art, practice, and process of drawing forth gossamer threads of thought and image from… where?… and shaping them into logos.
Will you be at StokerCon in Pittsburgh June 4-7? Come to my panels!

Now that the madness of Dragon Con is over, I can turn my attention to the upcoming 10th-Annual Broadleaf Writers Conference, this September 20-21 at the Decatur Library in downtown Decatur, GA. I’ll be moderating a panel:
What a World
Panelists: Tra Battle, Paul Jenkins
Moderator: Bill Bridges
The world of your story determines everything, from the weather to how the characters behave. It becomes even more complex when you’re writing within an existing framework. From fan fiction to a place of your own creation, how do you write authentically in a world that is already built? Join our panelists as they discuss which rules should be followed, which ones can be bent, and where your creativity can take the wheel.
Please come join us! Learn more and register here.

I’ll be at #StokerCon this week! (It’s in Stamford, CT.) If you see me there, say hi. Come to my panel: “Roleplaying Games and Horror”, Thursday at 3pm (Aspen 1). I hope to see everybody there!
I’m on the latest Write Now podcast from Broadleaf Writers, along with Dawn Major! Give us a listen! And then register for this year’s conference!

It’s coming up fast! The 9th Annual Broadleaf Writers Conference is September 21-22 in downtown Decatur, Georgia, at the Decatur Library. Go to the website for full info and registration. This is a fun and illuminating weekend, where you’ll meet fellow writers and learn some great tips from experienced authors, agents, and editors.
I was one of the founding board members of the Broadleaf Writers Association, and I just can’t help sticking around and helping out with each year’s conference. Please come, say hi, and hang out with wordsmiths like you!
