Multiverse Con 2026

Standard

I hope to see you at Multiverse on October 16-18 in Peachtree City, GA (just south of Atlanta). Here is my TENTATIVE panel schedule:

Reading Between the Screams: Horror Theories
Date: Friday, October 16, 2026
Time: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Room: GEEK: HORROR TRACK
Horror is a canvas for hidden meanings, social commentary, and psychological intrigue. Need panelists to analyze subtext in films, such as cultural anxieties, hidden political messaging, and psychological undercurents of horror. Lets debate the theories behind what makes horror resonate. Bring your ideas, interpretations, and favorite examples as we explore how horror expands beyond what’s on the screen.

Friday Night Writing Workshop
Date: Friday, October 16, 2026
Time: 8:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Room: WRITE TRACK
Attendees will bring 1000 words of their writing, and be divided into small groups of 2-3 attendees to 2 attending professionals. In the groups, each attendee will read their work, and then the whole group, led and facilitated by you and the other guest in your group, will give feedback. This is a chance for the attendees to both get feedback from a professional, and also learn how to give and receive peer feedback. Each attendee should get ~30 minutes of attention (although if a group wants to run longer, we won’t cut it off).

Where Book Meets Game
Date: Sunday, October 18, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Room: GEEK: FANTASY TRACK
As a still relatively new (sub)genre, LitRPG is one that is unfamiliar to a large amount of people. Where do things like leveling up and dialogue choices fit into the written word? If there are already fantasy books and fantasy video games, what value could come from combining the two? This panel seeks to answer such questions by offering an introductory discussion of LitRPG.

Date: Sunday, October 18, 2026
Time: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Room: PLAY TRACK
Do you have experience writing and or editing RPG content? Come bring your experience to other potential creators. Expect audience questions.

Date: Sunday, October 18, 2026
Time: 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Room: GEEK: HORROR TRACK
